Understanding what we need for Prep is important. We created the Prep Sheet to make sure you know what we need done prior to bringing anything in for cleaning. It's our job to make sure we have shared what we need done prior to dipping. It's your job to complete that prep before bringing in your parts. Complete prep is extremely important for your parts and our business operations.

We can't and won't put items into our tanks that are not properly and fully prepared:
some metals will dissolve in the chemicals, some metals react differently in each chemical, we don't want added cross contamination, we can't have parts falling off in the tanks, we don't want your garbage to become our hazardous waste.
On top of all that we want to do the very best we can on each and every item we accept for cleaning. Nothing short of the best we can. Not preparing your parts properly makes it more difficult to impossible for us to reach that goal.

Complete proper prep must be done. Rushing to get a project here but skipping a bunch of prep isn't best for either one of us. Please take the time required to complete the prep.
If we are required to finish the prep on your project we need to be compensated for that time. Our prices for cleaning are based on parts being properly prepared at the time of arrival.

It takes us about 1 hour of time to clean an average hood from start to finish. The average hood has a cost of $200. If we are required to divert time away from cleaning to complete someone's prep we need to be fairly compensated for that time.
It's simple. You do the prep so we can focus on the cleaning.

Very important to understand that if you don't take the prep seriously at some point we'll just refuse your project. It doesn't happy often but it does happen. Part of creating and requiring this form.
We have rejected entire project due to lack of commitment to the prep. Stinks for both parties. However, we're not sure how we could be more clear about the commitment to prep.
Call if you have questions regarding prep, please do not show up and say something like "oh I don’t care about those" Just because you don't care about something doesn't mean there isn't an important reason on our side.

Please call or email if you have any question about the prep. Always better to ask and know rather than assume. You may think the prep isn't important to you.
